- Examining the causes, consequences, and prevention of intimate partner violence (IPV)
- Focusing research on adolescents and young adults’ experiences of IPV including 1) the correlates and predictors of IPV victimization and perpetration, 2) leaving processes in relationships characterized by IPV, 3) disclosure of IPV experiences and social reactions to these disclosures, and 4) ethics of IPV research
- Utilizing research data to implement effective IPV prevention and intervention efforts as well as advocate for legislative policy and social change
