  • Developing a long-term research project to explore cultures of security surrounding virus experiments Vietnam and the United States
  • Collaborating with information scientists to conduct a social science investigation of “virus ontologies,” computer generated systems that scientists use to model virus behavior
  • Submitting an external grant application to conduct ethnographic fieldwork at high-security laboratories in Vietnam, Europe and the United States
