  • The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is a network of educational researchers interested in social and emotional education. The organization has an excellent, professional web site on integrating social and emotional learning in educational curricula. You can find the site here.
  • My colleagues David Caruso and Peter Salovey have published a book called The Emotionally Intelligent Manager. The book outlines a coaching approach to improving management that is based on the four branch model of emotional intelligence ability described here.
  • Marvin Maurer, Marc Brackett, and Francesca Plain have put together a curriculum for emotional literacy in middle school. To see the volume on a curriculum, click here.
  • During much of the 20th century, research on personality change was fragmented according to the theories of personality that motivated and explained a particular type of therapy, or intervention. For example there were Freudian, Jungian, Rogerian, and cognitive behavioral approaches to personality change. Recently, a great deal of work has been done on integrating these various approaches in relation to a unified view of the personality system itself. Various integrations concerning personality psychology can be seen on my personality psychology web site, here.
