Financial Assistance

For Undergraduate Students

The UNH Financial Aid Office assists promising students who are unable to meet their educational expenses entirely from their own family resources. Aid is available in the form of grants and scholarships, loans, and part-time, work-study employment. The financial aid issue of the Bulletin of the University of New Hampshire contains specific program information.

For Graduate Students

Students who are seeking certification in special education should contact the Financial Aid office for specific information related to teachers in critical shortage areas. The federal government has identified teachers in special education as a group who qualify for significant loan forgiveness. You will need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for some loans.
