Core Courses
In addition to the coursework necessary for the M.Ed. and certification in General Special Education, those wishing to obtain additional certification in Learning Disabilities should take the following courses:
EDUC 852 Contemporary Issues in Learning Disabilities 4 cr.
ECUC 856 Supporting Families of Individuals w/Exceptionalities (if not already taken)
EDUC 908/909 Diagnosis and Remediation of Reading Disabilities 4 cr./4 cr.
EDUC 910 Reading and Writing Methods in the Middle/Secondary School 4 cr.
