Experiential Education and community-based learning are the foundations of the Live, Learn, and Teach Program. The power of experience-based learning, however, is complex and not automatic. It doesn't come about just by "doing things." We are required to understand not only the activity involved but we also must know how best to facilitate and utilize the learning that arises from experience. Before any learning begins, we must know ourselves. It is important to get in touch with your own style of work - to know why you are doing (results), as well as what does and doesn't work with your learners.
