Checklist for Wilderness Experience

Note: Items in Bold are those you should mail to Lisa Wilder at the Department of Education prior to Wilderness Experience.

If these items cannot be mailed in time to be received before Wilderness Experience, please BRING THEM WITH YOU on the first day.

____ Registered for appropriate 12 credits through DCE. (must be prior to start)

____ Defensive Driving Complete (a copy of your certificate will be sent to us by Wildcat Transit).

____ CPR certification complete.

____ CPR certificate copy sent in.

____ First Aid certification complete.

____ First Aid certificate copy sent in.

____ Assumption of Risk (Health Form) completed and sent back.

____ Dewey Point One completed and sent back.

____ Reading assignments completed for Wilderness Experience (WE).

____ WE equipment list consulted for packing gear (leave room for 1" binder & small notebook!).

____ Special items requested for WE packed.
