Farm Educator, Full-time, exempt. Closes January 31, 2013
The Farm Educator leads youth education programming onsite and in local schools.
Field Trip Internship Spring, February through May
Help lead groups of schoolchildren on the farm this spring! This internship is great for anyone interested in learning more about outdoor education, urban farming or wetland education.
Healthy Cooking Internship Spring, February through May
Work with a team of volunteers to lead cooking workshops and demonstrations for diverse families in East Portland, as part of our Healthy Eating on a Budget program.
Farm Day Internship Spring, March through June
Lead weekly Farm Fridays and monthly Second Saturday farm days for community members to visit, volunteer, and tour our 16 acre farm and wetland site.
Community Livestock Internship Spring, March through June
Support community and volunteer participation with three livestock projects at Zenger Farm: the Bee Project, the Worm Project and the Egg Cooperative.
Farming Internship, April through October - closes 2/1
Learn the basics of small-scale production farming over the course of the growing season. Tend annual row crops from seed to harvest, care for perennial edibles, and manage farm livestock.
