School Food Focus Supply Chain Analyst
In Spring 2012, School Food FOCUS launched the Upper Midwest Regional Learning Lab (RLL), a community-based participatory research project in which seven school districts and their partners will collaborate to redirect their school food procurement practices toward more wholesome food.
As part of
this project, FOCUS will investigate supply chains for minimally
processed produce in the Midwest and Great Lakes region, with an eye
towards gaps in infrastructure and resources where
pro-social investment could increase capacity of school districts to
procure minimally processed produce.
We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to research, analyze and interpret produce supply chain processes, specifically for those fruits and vegetables chosen by RLL participating school districts, with the goal of providing schools better access to wholesome, regionally sourced product.
