INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

"UNH students that want to graduate with an edge are choosing the dual major in EcoGastronomy because it sets them apart in competitive industries that are becoming more sustainably aware." -- Daniel Winans, director of the dual major in EcoGastronomy and a lecturer in the Department of Hospitality Management at the UNH Whittemore School of Business and Economics.

Admissions

In order to declare the Dual Major in EcoGastronomy, students must:

  • Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5
  • Have declared, or be prepared to declare, a disciplinary major
  • Complete the Introduction to EcoGastronomy course with a grade of C or better

Declaring the Dual Major

If you meet the admission qualifications listed above, please contact the Director to arrange a meeting.

Advising

Students must meet with the Faculty Coordinator once per semester throughout their course of study. To schedule an appointment, contact the Director.
