Love & Carrots is a full service organic vegetable gardening company. We offer Edible Landscaping, Urban Farming, Native Plant & Pollinator Gardens, and Rain Gardens & Bay Scapes in the D.C. Metropolitan area.

 

The Executive Assistant will help Meredith Sheperd (CEO and Founder of L&C) with the daily ins and outs of business operations. Love & Carrots is a new and fast-growing company and this position is intended to transition to full time in Marketing and Sales. Therefore, we are in search of an applicant passionate about Urban Agriculture who is looking to grow with Love & Carrots.

 

Schedule:

Requires 2 to 4 full days a week—this position may be part time on a regular schedule.

• Filing, Office Supplies, and Organization

• Marketing, tabling

Skills and Specifications

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Highly organized and able to handle a full plate of important tasks

• Marketing and/or design backgrounds are desirable

• Detail-oriented

• Art and Design

• Use of own computer required

• Use of own smart phone preferred

• Current Drivers License

Compensation:

Provides daily pay rate ($80-$100) based on experience.
