Financing a college education often involves an investment in yourself:  student loans.  But making that investment is the easy part.  There are often many choices available, although choosing the right investment option is a bit more difficult.  Choosing a wise strategy to limit this investment to only the amount truly needed is the first step.  Understanding the various repayment options available to you when you finish your education is just as important.

During this session, participants will learn:

  • How to make wise loan choices
  • Credit and its impact on your future
  • Pros and cons to loan repayment
  • Opportunities to reduce the total interest paid over the life of loan repayment
  • Options to keep repayment affordable
  • Steps to take in order to stay on track during repayment
  • What to do if you have trouble repaying your loans
  • Evaluation strategies for student loan debt consolidation
