DeMeritt Hall
Project Description
The DeMeritt Hall reconstruction project will replace the existing building with an all new facility to accommodate the UNH Physics programs. The design provides all of the building program space on three floors with an enclosed fourth floor space for building mechanical equipment. The building includes classrooms, a 165-seat lecture hall, teaching labs, research labs, Physics library, student support spaces, and office space for faculty and graduate students. The building will be fully air conditioned with state-of-the-art heat recovery equipment. A variety of the most sustainable materials will be used throughout the building. The project also includes utility upgrades and landscaping. Work is scheduled to be completed by August 1, 2008.
