Stacy VanDeveer's teaching, research, scholarship and community service have often revolved around environmental and energy issues over the last ten years. He teaches courses on environmental politics and policymaking, the global politics of resources, and U.S. foreign affairs. He has also published a host of articles, book chapters and edited volumes on these issues. In particular, he has written about climate change politics at the global level and among New England states and local communities. He also co-hosted a 2-day workshop on climate change and energy issues in Washington, DC in May of 2006. He has served for several years on the board of UNH’s Climate Education Initiative with the Office of Sustainability Programs and is currently a member of the UNH Energy Task Force.
