Dairy Bar History

The station was originally built in 1896 in Lynn, Massachusetts and was moved to the present site in Durham when the Boston and Maine Railroad moved its tracks further from the center of campus.
2001 and 2008 historic renovations and expansion resulted in a new Dairy Bar restaurant; expanded transit facilities including a climate controlled lobby for intercity bus and rail passengers. The ATM equipped lobby is open from 5:30am-10pm and also houses the Amtrak Quik-Trak machine for reservations and printing boarding tickets. Wildcat Transit and UNH Campus Connector service is available on Main Street approximately 1000' away.
