Marine Sciences and Engineering
Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping (C-COM) and Joint Hydrographic Center (JHC)
The center is a NOAA-supported National Center of Expertise
to promote and foster education of a new generation of hydrographers and
ocean mapping scientists. The center develops and evaluates a wide range
of state-of-the-art hydrographic and ocean mapping technologies and applications.
The center interacts and cooperates with the private sector through its
Corporate Partners Program.

Cooperative Institute for Coastal and Estuarine Environmental Technology
(CICEET)
The center is a partnership between UNH and NOAA that supports
the scientific development of innovative technologies for understanding
and reversing the impacts of coastal and estuarine contamination and
degradation.

Cooperative Institute for New England Mariculture and Fisheries (CINEMAR)
Open Ocean Aquaculture Demonstration Project
The institute is a regional
program established in partnership with NOAA that provides scientific
research, technology research, and outreach for marine resource management
and seafood production. It is currently recognized by NOAA as the Atlantic
Marine Aquaculture Center.

Large Pelagics Research Center
A Center of Excellence established through
a partnership between UNH and NOAA through the National Marine Fisheries
Service, the center is dedicated to developing the scientific information,
technology, and integrated approaches necessary to support development
of effective ecosystem-based management strategies for large pelagic
species (e.g. Atlantic bluefin tuna, turtles, and sharks) in the northwest
Atlantic Ocean.

Marine Program
The program provides organizational structure through which
faculty and students with interests in marine biology, ocean engineering,
and ocean science can work together in multidisciplinary teams to conduct
research (with eight sub-centers).

Anadromous Fish and Aquatic Invertebrate Research (AFAIR) Laboratory
Faculty
associated with this laboratory promote and support training, research,
and outreach activities in fresh and sea water fisheries, aquaculture,
and invertebrate studies. Current research programs include comparative
biomedical research, invertebrate and vertebrate genomics, and biochemical
and molecular neurorendocrinology.

NH Sea Grant College Program
The program provides support, leadership, and
expertise for marine research, education, and extension. As a component
of the National Sea Grant College Program, it is one of a network of
30 programs promoting understanding, development, wise use, and conservation
of ocean and coastal resources.
