First Steps

Multicultural students are invited to participate in the Connect Program based on their acceptance into the University of New Hampshire. 

Students will receive a program brochure, registration card and a formal letter inviting them to participate in the program.  If you would like to participate in the program, please mail the registration card, or apply online on or before July 1, 2013.  

Here is a timeline of what you can expect March - August 2013:

March & April 2013
Students will begin receiving invitation letters in the mail.

June 2013
Register for and attend First Year Orientation

Make a list of what to bring.
Save money for books!

July 2013
Students should send in the required forms to Health Services Office.
Complete the online Alcohol Course
Complete the Financial Literacy Course      
Save money for books!
Students should send in their Participant Contract and Participant Waiver forms by July 29, 1011.

August 2013
Peer mentors will contact program participants via cell phone, and facebook. 
Save money for books!
If you have a balance, contact Business Services to set up a payment plan.
Students will move into their fall housing and the program begins.
