The Connect Peer Mentor position spans the entire academic year, beginning with the summer program.  During the summer portion, the peer mentors will be paid a $200 stipend.  Payment is dependent on successful completion of the job requirements.  Failure to meet the job requirements will result in loss of payment and in some cases loss of your position. 

During the academic year, peer mentors will be paid an hourly wage of $10 per hour, with a maximum of 5 hours per week.  Students will be compensated for office hours, individual meetings with participants and senior staff, training sessions and staff meetings.
