Become a Mentor

If you are interested in becoming a Connect Peer Mentor, there is an application process that includes: online application, resume, and interview preparation session.  Qualified applicants will be invited to a 30 minute interview March 25-29, 2013 with Stephanie Bramlett and the Connect Senior Staff.  Students will be notified about our hiring decision on Friday, April 5, 2013.  On Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 12:40 pm-2:00 pm there is a mandatory meeting for new and current peer mentor staff. 

Online Application
Before you complete the online application we recommend that you check to see if you meet the qualifications.  If you meet them, proceed to the online application.  The deadline for completing online applications is Friday, March 8, 2013 at 4:30 p.m.  We suggest you type your essay questions in a word document, do a spell check, then cut and paste your answers into the application.  Also, please have the names of 3 references

Resume
The Career Counselors have walk-in resume reviews Monday - Thursday from 12:00 - 2:00 pm in Hood House Room 11.  

Career Services
Qualified applicants will be invited to interview with Stephanie Bramlett and Connect Senior Staff. Prior to interview, please make an appointment online with a career counselor.  During your appointment, please let them know you are applying to be a Connect Peer Mentor.
