Connect
Research indicates multicultural students face a number of issues when transitioning from high school to college. For multicultural students, the transition is more difficult as they enter a less diverse environment at UNH.
It is our hope that by having knowledge of the available campus resources, building social networks before classes begin and learning how to navigate the campus community, students will have a positive “jump start” on their college career.
Connect provides:
- Academic Support
- Advocacy
- Campus Survival Skills
- Peer Mentors (freshmen and transfers only)
- Pre-College Program (freshmen and transfers only)
- Social & Cultural Orientation to UNH
How do I know CONNECT is the right orientation program for me?
CONNECT is the only first-year orientation program that is focused on academic achievement, the value of peer-mentoring and is absolutely free to its participants! Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.
Also, you can check out our First Steps page to view a suggested schedule of how to prepare for move-in day.
