CI-UNH announces semester Chinese language program at Chengdu University

March 29, 2012

CI-UNH, with the help of the UNH Center for International Education, has established an exchange program with Chengdu University of China. Under this agreement, CI-UNH will send 2 students per year or 4 students per semester to study Chinese language at Chengdu University. Students can take up to 4 courses per semester there and have those credits transferred back to UNH. Students will follow the UNH calendar and pay UNH tuition without room and board. Students will also be responsible for round trip airfare. Since room and board is considerably less at CDU, each student will be spending less in comparison. In addition, CDU President Zhou Jiliu has set aside some additional scholarship money for UNH students to cover part of room and board over there. CI-UNH encourages students to plan ahead and apply for the spring semester each year rather than the fall semester. Interested students should consult CI-UNH directors for more details. Students must meet UNH Study Abroad Eligibility Standards.

CI-UNH is now accepting applications for the spring of 2013.
