April 10, 2012: Second Annual Tea Day


CI-UNH announces its second annual Tea Day on April 10th from 2:00 – 4:00 outside Murkland G14. People in China usually enjoy newly picked tea around this time of the year to celebrate the beginning of spring. CI-UNH has prepared a variety of teas from China for the CI-UNH Tea Day. Students and faculties are welcome to sample some of the best teas from China with dessert. The following teas will be available:

1 Da Hong Pao
2 Tie Guanyin (a variation within the Ulong family and known for its unique flavor)
3 Jasmine Tea from Chengdu (Chengdu grows the best jasmine in China)
4 Maofeng picked before April 5 from Mount Emei in Sichuan (the best green tea)
5 Raw Pu’er
6 Pu’er undergone 10 years of microbial fermentation in bamboo barrel
