Learning Through Teaching Program
Learning Through Teaching Program
Learning Through Teaching (LTT) is an innovative, in-service program designed to help teachers of grades K-12 meet their individual goals in teaching reading, writing, and literature. It is unique because it brings teacher education to the site of instruction—the teacher's school and classroom. The LTT program also hosts annual workshops with significant keynote speakers who are specialists in the field of literacy and writing.

Mendum's Pond Outdoor Recreation Area
A beautiful 200-acre outdoor recreation area just 9 miles from campus
Open daily from June 21 to September 1. The recreation area offers boating, picnicking, playground, hiking trials, orienteering course, and swimming (no lifeguards on duty). Canoe and kayaks available for rent. Two covered pavilions with grills and picnic tables available for group reservations.
