Art Camp - Summer Art Camp for Children
Art Camp
Week-long summer art classes for children grades 4 - 9 offered Monday through Friday during the month of August. A wide variety of classes to choose from including Introduction to Drawing, Monotype Printing, Watercolor Painting, Working with Wire 3-D Forms & Jewelry and Interior Room Design for Kids.

Presenting Art Exhibitions and Weekly Programs
Changing exhibitions and an array of programs (gallery walks, films, concerts, and slide lectures) are presented free of charge. Our Outreach Program offers a lending library of audio-visual materials and guided exhibition tours for school teachers and their students. Open September - May: Monday - Wednesday, 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 1 - 5 p.m.

New Hampshire Youth Band
Providing Musical Challenges for Serious Musicians
This ensemble provides musical challenge and advanced performance experiences for school band musicians from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. Groups rehearse and perform at UNH on Sundays from noon to 2:00 PM. Concerts are given with various UNH concert bands, and occasional trips for outside performances and tours, including to locations such as New York City, are regularly scheduled.

Theatre Day Camp and Dance Intensives for Youth
Training in performing arts, creative arts, production, and performance. Skilled and experienced directors have advanced degrees and/or are state-certified to teach grades 3-12. They provide a supportive atmosphere in which talent and creativity are encouraged.

Sharing the University's History
Tour UNH and local history through photos, documents, artifacts, and memorabilia housed in the University's Dimond Library museum. Exhibits are planned around UNH historic themes and collections, current events and campus programs.

Whittemore Center Arena, The
The Whittemore Center Arena hosts a variety of events throughout the year including concerts, tradeshows, family shows and other special events. The arena is home to the UNH Men's & Women's Ice Hockey programs as well as the Oyster River Bobcats.
