Your family and friends are looking forward to celebrating this special day with you, so be sure to talk to them early and encourage them to make reservations early to avoid any disappointments or inconveniences Commencement weekend.

Planning Tip: Traffic in and around Durham is extremely heavy on Commencement Day. We suggest that any post-ceremony lunch reservations or celebrations outside of Durham be scheduled for 2:30 p.m. or later.
