Caps and Gowns
Candidates have a number of opportunities to purchase a cap and gown for Commencement. They can purchase their cap and gown at the following times:
April 15, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Commencement Fair, Granite State Room in the MUB
May 19-22, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21), Elliott Alumni Center
May 23, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Elliott Alumni Center
Class of '58 Reunion Fund Challenge:
The Class of 1958 has contributed $2008.00 to the Class of 2008 Reunion Fund and challenges undergraduates to match their donation. University Cap and Gown will be collecting for this fund during the cap and gown distribution.
Prices:
All associate, bachelor and master candidates must purchase gowns because the negotiated buying price is less than the cost of renting.
- Associate and Bachelor caps and gowns are $15.00 ($12.50 for cap and gown with an optional $2.50 contribution to the Class of 2008 Reunion Fund).
- Master cap and gown is $24.30.
- Doctoral candidates have the option of renting or purchasing. Click here for pricing and ordering information.

Students eligible for Honors Program stoles and University Scholar cords will receive them as a part of the Honors Convocation on May 23.
