Unscheduled Network Outage (UNH/KSC) - 11/29/05; UPDATE 10:43am

Unscheduled Network Outage (UNH/KSC) - 11/29/05; 10:40am
The University campus is currently experiencing an unscheduled network and systems outage affecting only direct communication between the UNH-Durham and Keene State campuses. Internet and Internet2 access is not affected by this outage. Users attempting to access network-dependent services (i.e. financial systems) may experience difficulty connecting. Telecommunications staff is aware of the problem and working to restore service as soon as possible. This web page will have the most current information at all times. Blackboard/MyUNH System Slowness 11/7/2005; UPDATE 11/09/05; 7:33am
The Blackboard/MyUNH server environment was taken offline on Wednesday, 11/09/05 from 6:30am - 7:30am to deploy changes to the server environment to increase performance speed and to avoid future login problems. If you experience any difficulty logging in or see any unexpected slowness while using the Blackboard/MyUNH application, please contact the Help Desk at 862-4242. VPN Safenet Access Problem - 10/31/05; UPDATE 10:21am
The VPN servers were successfully rebooted as of 10:21am Monday, 10/31/05, however all login issues were not resolved during the system reboot. System administrators continue to investigate the problem and are working towards a solution as quickly as possible. This web page will have the most current information at all times. VPN Safenet Access Problem - 10/31/05; UPDATE 9:37am
In an effort to restore VPN connectivity as quickly as possible, system administrators are planning to reboot the Safenet 03, 04 and Admin 05 VPN servers at 10:00am Monday, 10/31/05. During the reboot, VPN connectivity will be unavailable for approximately 20 minutes. This web page will have the most current information at all times.
