November 25, 2002 - Network Outage 9:30-10:05am
A piece of network hardware failed, and was rebooted to restore connectivity. All Internet and Wide Area Network services were disrupted periodically during this time for UNH, UNHM, CLL, Cooperative Extension Services, USNH System offices, Jackson Labs, ORHS, and Neat Networks.

Additionally, intercampus WAN services were disrupted among UNH, Plymouth State College, Keene State College, and UNHM.
This affected Internet service for Dartmouth, Plymouth, Keene, and GSDLN.
This affected Internet 2 service for UNH.
This affected Internet 2 services to Dartmouth and UVM.

Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

November 18, 2002 - Residence Hall: Network Access Update
CIS received several reports from students in the Residence Halls who were unable to access the network late Saturday evening and Sunday. This problem was traced to a DHCP server that serves IP addresses. This problem is corrected at this time and we are developing a redundant DHCP service to avoid this type problem in the future.
