USNH Firewall Maintenance - UPDATE 10/24/03; 7:10am
All required maintenance has been completed as of 7:10am Friday, 10/24/03. If you experience any connectivity problems, please contact the CIS Help Desk & Dispatch Center at 862-4242.

USNH Firewall Maintenance - 10/24/03, 7:00am
UNH Telecommunications will be performing emergency maintenance on the UNH firewall software on Friday, 10/24 /03 at 7:00 am. During this time, connections to off-campus Internet sites and network communications across USNH Campuses will be unavailable. UNH Exchange e-mail servers will remain accessible for UNH core-campus faculty and staff for internal communications. Email to recipients off-campus will be queued and delivered once the Internet connection is restored. Downtime is not expected to exceed 60 minutes. Please note that this maintenance will not affect any student connectivity. This web page will have the most current information at all times. Banner Unix Cluster Pluto Unavailable 10/19/03
Pluto, a node in the BANNER Unix cluster will be unavailable this Sunday, October 19 from 7:00 AM until noon for disk maintenance. Pluto serves the BANNER Finance/HR databases DEVL, UTST, TRNG and PARK.

Banner Student Downtime 10/17/03 - 10/20/03
The Banner Student production databases - PROD and SLLP - will be unavailable between Noon on Friday, 10/17 and Noon on Monday, 10/20, as these systems are upgraded from Banner 5 to Banner 6. This downtime affects Banner Student only - FRESH is not affected. This web page will have the most current information at all times. BANNER Unix cluster downtime 10/12/03
The BANNER Unix cluster will be down on Sunday, October 12 from 7:00 AM until noon for software maintenance.

Banner Systems Unavailable 10/9/03
CIS Enterprise Computing Group is performing routine maintenance between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM tonight (Thursday, October 9) on the Banner forms servers so none of the Banner instances including BPRD will be available. Additionally, the Banner databases will be unavailable between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Sunday, October 12.

BANNER Finance/HR front end System Downtime - 10/9/03
The BANNER Finance/HR front end will be unavailable on Thursday, October 9, from 7:00 PM until 7:15 PM for software maintenance.

Student Network Disruption 10/9/03
Tomorrow morning, 10/09/03, at 6:45 am Telecom will be replacing network hardware due to a hard drive failure on the current device. There will be a 5 to 10 minute disruption of service from the student network to the internet. Student network traffic on campus will not be affected. CISUNIX Server Downtimes 10/01/03
Some CIS Unix systems (specifically: Hypatia, Franklin, Sullivan, and Bamboo) will be unavailable for brief periods between 7am and 8am on Wednesday, October 1 for hardware and software maintenance. It's estimated that each system will be unavailable for about 10-15 minutes or less.

Turing and Pascal should remain available for logins while Hypatia is down.

Pubpages web service will be unavailable while Sullivan is down.

Account maintenance functions won't be available while Franklin is down.

CIS Unix WebMail will be unavailable while Bamboo is down. Existing WebMail sessions will be interrupted and any message you're composing when the system goes down may be lost.
