----------------------------------------------------
WORK COMPLETE - 10/29, 5:31am
----------------------------------------------------

We will be making a configuration change to a network device on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:30am. This might cause a momentary Internet connectivity loss for UNH, UNHM, The Colleges of Lifelong Learning, the Cooperation Extension Services, USNH System Offices, Jackson Labs, ORHS, and NEAT networks. This might also interrupt Internet service for Dartmouth College, Plymouth State College, and Keene State College. This will not affect Internet2 service for UNH, Dartmouth, or UVM. This will not affect voice and video services for any of the campuses/networks noted. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for all your patience.

Slow response time with Exchange 10/23/02
2:45pm There was a slow response time reported with exchange.
3:00pm Due to the slow response time, the exchange server was rebooted.
3:15pm Exchange service is restored.

VMS Cluster Downtime
At 7:00am on Saturday October 19, the VMS cluster will be unavailable so that the VAX hardware can be moved to the new Data Center at One Leavitt Lane. The systems may be unavailable through Sunday, October 27, although it is expected that the work will be completed sooner. Daily progress updates will be available on the web at www.unh.edu/cis/ecg/datacentermove.htm. Please plan accordingly by forwarding e-mail and reviewing JSS jobs for scheduled submissions during that week.

Unplanned Network Outage 10/15/02 7:15am - 11am
Corruption of a network device was found to be the cause of this outage.
All Internet services were intermittently disrupted during this time for UNH, UNHM, CLL, Cooperative Extension Services, USNH System Offices, Jackson Labs, ORHS, and Neat Networks. This affected Internet service for Dartmouth, Plymouth, Keene, and GSDLN. This did not affect Internet 2 services to UNH, Dartmouth and UVM. This did not affect voice and video services for any of the campuses/networks noted.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for all your patience.
