Unscheduled Network Outage - 10/03/06; 11:10pm
The University campus experienced a brief outage on Tuesday, 10/03/06 at approximately 11:10pm affecting the
Orange subnet. This outage prevented some users from accessing AD and Outlook Exchange e-mail. Telecommunications staff
identified the problem and restored service within 10 minutes.

All network and Exchange e-mail connectivity has been restored as of 10:45am, 10/03/06. If you are unable to

Unscheduled Banner Problem - 09/29/06; UPDATE 2:30pm
System administrators have identified a problem with the Banner Student server Sarin.
This problem may affect users of the Prod database in Banner Student. System administrators
will be rebooting the Banner SIS forms server on Sunday, 10/01/06 at 8:00am to remedy the problem.
Expected downtime should not exceed 15 minutes. This

Unscheduled Banner Problem - 09/29/06
System administrators have identified a problem with the Banner Student server Sarin.
This problem may affect users of the Prod database in Banner Student. The system administrators
have now disabled connections to Sarin and are forcing connections to the server Miram.
Users who experience the following error message FRM-92101: There was failure in the forms server
during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration should log out of Banner and
log back in again. System Administrators are continuing to investigate the problem. This

AOL Domain Delayed E-mail Addressing - 9/27/06
The America Online domain name (aol.com) has recently 'blacklisted' the UNH domain name (unh.edu),
resulting in e-mail messages addressed to any AOL addresses to bounce back to the sender. This block
is resulting in an AOL message queue and e-mail messages are slowly being sent successfully. AOL
technicians have been notified and are working to correct the problem in the next 24 hours at which time
message delivery speeds should resume. This Web page will have the most current information at all times

Unscheduled Webmail Outage - 09/27/2006; 8:30pm
The Webmail servers experienced a temporary downtime on Wednesday, 9/27/06 from approximately 8:30pm until
10:00pm. System administrators identified the issue and restored all connectivity by 10:00pm.

Student dorms on the University campus experienced an unscheduled network outage on Thursday, 9/14/06
at approximately 8:05am. A line card in the Student Router was reset to correct the connectivity problem at approximately
