Unscheduled Network Outage - 07/20/2006; 4:28pm
The University campus experienced an unscheduled network outage on Thursday, 7/20/06 at approximately 4:25pm. An Internet firewall was rebooted to correct a connectivity problem and service was restored at approximately 4:28pm. Training Web Site Available - 07/18/2006 UPDATE 9:07am
The CIS Training Web site (http://training.unh.edu) is available as of 9:07am Tuesday, 07/18/2006. The cause of the outage was determined to be a failed network switch causing loss of connectivity to the Web Site. Training Web Site Unavailable - 07/18/2006
The CIS Training Web site (http://training.unh.edu) is unavailable as of 8:07am Tuesday, 07/18/2006. Users attempting to register for a course should contact the Help Desk at 862-4242 to speak with a representative. While the Web Site remains unavailable, Help Desk staff continue to process manual registrations. System administrators are aware of the outage and working to restore service as quickly as possible. The Blackboard performance issue has been resolved as of 2:37pm Thursday, 07/06/2006. System administrators have restored all Blackboard functionality to optimal performance time. Blackboard Slow Performance Issue - UPDATE 07/06/2006; 8:47am
The Blackboard performance issue has been identified as a problem with the Blackboard database. Users may notice slow performance while the initial Blackboard page loads, however users may click the 'Login' button as soon as the button appears and login normally.
System administrators are working to restore optimum performance as quickly as possible and hope to restore all service by 5:00pm, 07/06/2006. The Blackboard systems are experiencing slow performance times on Wednesday, 07/05/2006. This slowness may affect access to resources within the Blackboard system (i.e. Webcat/Student Services), however those systems within Blackboard are not experiencing the same slow response time. Unscheduled Banner Finance Outage - 07/03/2006; UPDATE 8:16am
Banner Finance PROD systems will be available by 9:00am Monday, 07/03/2006. A scheduled production job encountered a problem late last night and the job is currently running and should be complete in 20-30 minutes.
