BugBear.b Virus Alert - 06/06/2003
An updated version of the BugBear virus has been detected. Exchange and CISUNIX servers are currently installed with the most current anti-virus software patch. To install the BugBear.b updated DAT file, visit http://www.virus.unh.edu and choose the Extra for BugBear.B Virusscan Update. For further assistance, please contact the CIS Help Desk & Dispatch Center at 862-4242.

CIS Computer Virus Advisory - Worm Masquerades As Microsoft Support Message
The new worm, discovered in the last few days, pretends to be an e-mail from Microsoft's technical support. Known as Palyh, or W32/Palyh@MM or W32.Sobig.B@mm the mass-mailing worm can arrive as an e-mail from support@microsoft.com and comes with various subject lines, messages and file attachments.
The UNH Exchange E-mail system and Cisunix e-mail system has virus protection in place that will automatically strip out this virus attachment. To learn more about this virus and virus protection at UNH please visit www.virus.unh.edu.

CIS Computer Virus Advisory – Deloder Virus
As part of a comprehensive response to the threat posed by the Deloder Virus, CIS is posting a Computer Virus Advisory for the Deloder virus to all members of the UNH Community who use Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
