June 27, 2003 - Banner databases SIST and CLLT downtime
At the end of the day today there will be a shutdown of our SIS Test databases (SIST an
d CLLT). As a result, ALL SIST/CLLT services will be unavailable.
These databases will be down for the weekend, and we will revisit the situation on Mond
ay morning (they would be down first thing in the morning; it is
possible that they will need to be down during the day on Monday as well).
UNH File Server BR1/Exchange Downtime 6/22
File server BR1 and exchange servers will be down this Sunday, June 22nd while we perform routine maintenance
during our reserved maintenance window of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. We make every effort to
perform these tasks as quick as possible to better serve you and will do our best to make
your accounts available as quickly as possible. We appreciate your support and apologize
for the inconvenience.
CISUNIX Server Downtimes 6/19/2003 - 06/20/2003
- Thu Jun 19 8am-10am -- Franklin OS Patch Install
- Fri Jun 20 8am-10am -- Alberti OS Patch Install
All times approximate. Web-based account access and account management
functions will be unavailable while Franklin is down. Turing and Hypatia
should remain available while Franklin is down.

We will be performing necessary maintenance on Internet routing hardware on Thursday, June 12 @ 5am.
This will disrupt Internet1 services briefly for the following : UNH Durham, UNH Manchester, Keene State College, Plymouth State College, the Colleges for Lifelong Learning, Cooperative Extension Services, Lee System Office, Jackson Labs, GSDLN, NEAT, and Dartmouth. This will not affect Internet2 services to Dartmouth or UVM. This will not affect voice or video services to any USNH locations.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience.
Server Maintenance Downtime 6/12/03
Paradox (lists.unh.edu, listproc.unh.edu, alias related web pages such as the alias request form)
will be down Thursday, 6/12, from 6:30AM until 7:00AM for hardware maintenance.
Tabloid (news.unh.edu, usenet news server) will be down Friday, 6/13, from 6:30AM until 7:00AM
for hardware maintenance.
CISUNIX Server Downtimes 6/05/2003 - 06/10/2003
Upcoming downtime schedule:
- Thu Jun 05 8am-9am -- Turing OS Upgrade [1]
- Fri Jun 06 8am-9am -- Sullivan OS Upgrade [2]
- Mon Jun 09 8am-9am -- Bamboo OS Upgrade [3]
- Tue Jun 10 8am-10am -- Hypatia OS Patch Install [4]
All times approximate
- Alberti and Hypatia should remain available for
logins and other access while Turing is down,
but Netatalk file service to Macintoshes will be unavailable.
- 'Pubpages' web service will be unavailable during Sullivan's
downtime.
- CIS Unix WebMail will be unavailable during Bamboo's
downtime. Existing sessions will be interrupted, and
if you're in the process of composing mail, your work
may well be lost. So don't do that.
- Finally, Turing and Alberti should remain available while
Hypatia is down.

Banner UNIX Cluster Downtime 6/8/03
The BANNER UNIX cluster will be unavailable on Sunday, June 8 from
6:00 AM until 7:30 AM for a cluster reboot.
Exchange/BR1 Server Downtime 6/1/03
The Exchange and BR1 servers will be down this Sunday, June 1st while we perform routine maintenance
