June 27, 2003 10:00am - Printing and Mail Services shutdown
Printing and Mail Services at 7 Leavitt Lane will be shutdown for the remainder of the day. There will be minimal staff on duty and minimal services due to problems with ventilation

June 27, 2003 9:50am - UPDATE - Banner Finance Approvals Process Complete d
The update in Banner Finance is complete and the Finance forms are available on ce again. If you experience any problems, please log out and log back on. If you still experience problems, please contac t the help desk.

June 27, 2003 9:00am - Banner Finance Approvals Process downtime
MIS has isolated the problem. MIS is asking that everyone exit from Banner FINA NCE in order to correct the problem. Processing HR documents in Banner HR may continue. Banner Finance should be available in approximately 1 hour.

Updated - Power Outage - June 24, 2003 4:10pm
The power problems at One Leavitt Lane have been resolved and all systems affected by this outage been restored or are in the process of being restored at this time. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact the CIS Help Desk & Dispatch Center at 862-4242.

Power Outage - June 24, 2003 3:30pm
The University campus is currently experiencing an unscheduled system downtime due to a power outage at One Leavitt Lane. Facilities is aware of the problem and working to restore service as soon as possible. Some of the systems affected by this outage include: Exchange e-mail, BR1 file server, and Banner systems. This web page will have the most current information at all times. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact the CIS Help Desk & Dispatch Center at 862-4242.

June 16, 2003 1:00pm - UPDATE - Long Distance Telephone call problems.
Telecom has reportd that an MCI fiber has been cut in Indiana. MCI techs are onsite. This problem may cause a disruption of 800 number calling services. The UNH Calling Card 800 number has been reported as being affected by this problem. More information will be posted as soon as it is available. June 16, 2003 11:19am - Long Distance Telephone calls may experience problems.
Telecommunications reports that a major fiber has been cut in NY which could affect long distance calls in NY, NJ and New England. More information will be posted as soon as it is available. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact the CIS Help Desk & Dispatch Center at 862-4242.

Unplanned Network Outage 6/10/03
6:30am-6:50am

A module in a piece network hardware was not functioning correctly, and was rebooted to clear a connectivity issue.

All Internet and Wide Area Network services were disrupted periodically during this time for UNH, UNH Manchester, the College for Lifelong Learning, Cooperative Extension Services, Lee System office, Jackson Labs, ORHS, and Neat Networks. Additionally, Inter-campus Wide Area Network service was disrupted among UNH, Plymouth State College, Keene State College, and UNH Manchester. This affected Internet service for Dartmouth, Plymouth, Keene, and GSDLN. This did not affect voice and video services for any of the campuses/networks noted, nor Internet 2 services for Dartmouth College and the University of Vermont. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for all your patience.
