The UNH Webmail system is currently experiencing an unscheduled systems outage.

Blackboard System Interruption - 4/10/05
The Blackboard academic information server experienced an unscheduled system outage
on Sunday, 4/10/05 due to a server hardware failure. System administrators were immediately
notified and replaced the failed hardware as well as restored all system connectivity and data.
All Blackboard systems were restored as of 8:00am Monday, 4/11/05.

Blackboard System Interruption - 4/9/05
On Saturday morning Blackboard users were presented with a different login screen
causing problems in gaining access to Blackboard. This was caused by a configuration
setting that surfaced Saturday morning due to testing that occurred on Friday. We
apologize to all Blackboard users for the inconvenience this caused. System Administrators
have put new procedures in place to avoid this problem in the future.

The Telecom Billing system will be unavailable starting at 11:45 AM for database maintenance.
This outage will affect online Telecom billing as well as access to the Telecom Portal. This web

The Telecom Web Portal is available as of 8:12 AM Thursday, 4/7/05 after a hardware replacement.

The Telecom Web Portal is temporarily available this morning however due to a hardware failure,
the system will be shutdown for maintenance starting at 8:45 AM Wednesday, 4/6/05.
This outage will affect online Telecom billing as well as access to the Telecom Portal.

Banner VPN Connection Problems - 4/4/05; UPDATE 1:10pm
The primary Banner VPN connection has been restored as of 1:10pm Monday, 4/4/05. At this time,
the primary connection server is being monitored for stability to ensure performance. If you
are disconnected unexpectedly from a VPN connection, please contact the Help Desk immediately.

Banner VPN Connection Problems - 4/4/05; UPDATE 10:43am
The Banner VPN connection problem appears to be due to an inappropriate timeout period for VPN connections.
This has been rectified as of 10:43am and users should not notice any further disconnections. If you
are disconnected unexpectedly from a VPN connection, please contact the Help Desk immediately. The
primary Banner VPN connection server remains offline, however this should not impact further logins
to the VPN servers.

Banner VPN Connection Problems - 4/4/05; 9:06am
The University campus is currently experiencing an unscheduled Banner VPN systems outage.
The primary Banner VPN connection server is currently offline and all connection traffic
is being routed to a backup server. Users may experience difficulty connecting while
this primary connection server is offline.
Telecommunications staff is aware of the problem and working to restore service as soon as
