Unexpected Power/Network Outage - 4/22/04, 4:11pm
Reports from Littleton, NH indicate the entire town has lost power. This outage affects connectivity for CLL Littleton, NHCTC Littleton and Gregg Public Safety Academy (NCPSA). Unexpected Network Outage - Myers/Dunlap Center; 4/22/04, 3:47pm
A utility pole supplying the Dunlap/Myers Center with power has been severely damaged in an auto accident. Attempts are being made to save the pole, but the real possibility exists that a transformer may drop and send significant power spikes. With this in mind, Telecommunications staff is currently working to safely shut down the networking equipment onsite until this issue is resolved. Telecommunications staff are reporting that the earlier unscheduled network outage affecting any services that authenticate through Active Directory is now resolved. Unscheduled Network Outage Associated with AD Services 4/21/2004; 11:00am
The University campus is currently experiencing an unscheduled network outage affecting any services that authenticate through Active Directory (VPN, Exchange, Banner ...). Telecommunications staff are aware of the problem and working to restore service as soon as possible. The current estimated resolution time is one hour. Unscheduled Network Outage 4/14/04; 7:30pm
The University campus experienced an unscheduled network and systems outage on Wednesday, 4/14/04 at approximately 7:30pm. Telecommunications staff determined the cause to be a brief loss of power and stabilized all network connections by 8:51pm. While an outage on the core campus cannot be confirmed, evidence on several pieces of equipment indicates that an electric disruption most likely occurred. UNPLANNED NETWORK OUTAGE 8:45-9:00am; 4/12/04

There was a software error in a piece of routing equipment, and equipment was rebooted to restore connectivity.

This outage affected connectivity to Internet1 resources for UNH, KSC, PSU, and UNHM, as well as NHCTC, GSDLN, CLL/CES, and NEAT networks. This outage affected WAN services to KSC, PSU, and UNHM. This outage affected Internet2 connectivity to UNH, KSC, and PSU. Total length of maintenance will be approximately 15-20 minutes.
