Banner Unix Cluster Downtime 3/28/04
The BANNER Unix cluster will be unavailable on Sunday, March 28 from 7:00am until noon for software maintenance.
This web page will have the most current information at all times. If you have any

Banner/VMS System Downtime 3/25/04
The following services will be unavailable on Thursday, March 25 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm:
- BANNER SIS documentation serving
- BANNER SIS password change serving
- VMS to UNIX bridge for SIS

UNH Faculty/Staff Voicemail System Downtime - 3/20/04
The UNH Faculty/Staff (862-4444) and Student (295-3333) voice mail systems will be rebooted Saturday,
March 20 at 6:00 AM for scheduled maintenance. The voice mail systems will be out of service for
approximately twenty minutes. Clients will not be able to access voice mail features, retrieve messages
or leave messages during this time. All existing messages will be saved and will be retrievable after
maintenance. Thank you.
VMS Cluster Unavailable 3/21/04
The VMS cluster will be unavailable on Sunday, March 21 from 7:00 AM until noon for hardware maintenance.
CISUNIX System Downtimes 3/14/04 - 3/19/04
Some CIS Unix systems will be unavailable due to software upgrades according to the following (approximate) schedule:
- WebMail: 7am-9am Sunday March 14
- Pascal : 8am-10am Thursday March 18
- Turing : 8am-10am Friday March 19
Other systems should remain available while one is down.
UNH Fiber Upgrade - 3/18/04
Upgrade Complete 4:09am Thursday, 3/18/04
The fiber carrier who supplies services to UNH will be performing infrastructure upgrades starting
at 3am on Thursday, March 18. These upgrades will affect connectivity to Internet1/2 resources for
UNH, KSC, PSU, and UNHM, as well as NHCTC, GSDLN, CLL/CES, and NEAT networks. These upgrades will
not affect voice trunking services to KSC, PSU, or UNHM. These upgrades will affect Internet2
connectivity to Dartmouth. The length of the outage should not exceed 30-45 minutes. Thank you
for your patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
WebIntelligence Downtime - 3/13/04
The WebIntelligence reporting system will not be available Saturday morning, March 13th from 7:00 am
to 12 noon due to a database upgrade.

We are upgrading the Residence Hall Internet firewalls to improve performance and accommodate bandwidth upgrades.
Outage should be under 10 minutes, but users should plan to not have access to the internet from 7:30-8:00am.
All Residence Halls will be affected.

PLANNED WORK March 4, 2004 11:00-11:30pm

We are reconfiguring the routers which serve the AD controllers. This will
disrupt service to all AD users including: BSCs, all FRESH/Banner users,
VPN users, Exchange users, and anyone else who logs into AD.
