Friday, February 21, 4:00 pm - BR1 Server Problems
The BR1 server is currently being rebooted due to unplanned problems. At this time clients that store files on this server or who have login scripts that initiate a connection with the server will experience access problems. The server will be available shortly, we apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Call and Dispatch Center at 862-4242.

February 16, 2003 8:00 AM - Noon
The BANNER Unix cluster will be unavailable this Sunday, February 16, from 8:00 AM until noon for software maintenance.

February 17, 2003 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM
CIS Unix systems Turing, Bamboo, and Sullivan will be unavailable briefly (for about 10 minutes each) between 7:30am and 8am on Monday, February 17. WebMail service will be unavailable during Bamboo's downtime; existing WebMail sessions will be interrupted. Pubpages web service will be unavailable during Sullivan's downtime.

February 17, 2003 - WebMail Access
As of 2:00pm WebMail has been experiencing login problems. The issue is being addressed and WebMail will be available as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvience.

February 17, 2003 - Voice Mail Access
Currently several faculty/staff members have reported trouble getting into voice mail. This is due to heavy traffic calling the Storm Information Line. You should keep trying to access your voice mail. A line will free up and you will be able to get through.

February 13, 2003 - Attention Thompson Hall Network Clients
Telecom will be upgrading UNH Network equipment in this building. As a result, the network will be unavailable from 5:00AM to 7:00AM.

February 7, 2003 10:00 am
Telecommunications has reported that network connectivity has been stabilized at this time. Telecom Consultants were able to isolate the problem to customer installed equipment on the network. Connectivity was restored to normal after the equipment was removed from the network. If you have any questions please contact the Call and Dispatch Center at 862-4242

Network Outtage 2/7 - 8:30am
Starting at 8:30 am network connectivity issues were reported across campus. At this time Telecommunications has identified the reason for the connectivity issue, and has identified Area 1 of the network as the source. Area 1 of the network (i.e. Stoke, Lord, Smith, Sawyer, McLaughlin, Jesse Doe) continues to experience problems. Stay tuned for updates, or call the Call and Dispatch Center at 862-4242 for additional information.

Thursday February 6th, 5PM
Beginning at 5 PM on Thursday February 6th, Student On-line Billing will be unavailable for approximately 3-4 hours while system maintenance is performed. Thank you.

February 5, 2003, 8:30am - 8:50am - Exchange Server service interruption
Users with Exchange mailboxes on BSC3 experienced an outage from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m., February 5. This was due to a client knowingly violating standard procedures by accessing a mailbox during a time when the mailbox was being moved from one server to another. We apologize for this inconvenience.

February 4, 2003, 6:30am - Planned Work
We will be replacing one of four UNH Domain Name Servers (nic.unh.edu) at 6:30am on February 4. We expect there to be no disruption of service. However, in the worst case, DHCP service on the UNH LAN could be disrupted until 7:00am. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for all your cooperation.
