Blackboard Unavailable at 6:00PM - Monday, January 30, 2006
Blackboard will be unavailable at 6PM on Monday, January 30, 2006 while system maintenance is performed. It is anticipated Blackboard will be unavailable from 6:00PM until 6:45PM. Banner System Downtime - 1/29/06
BANNER Finance, BANNER HR, InfoEd, Famis, Kronos and Remedy will be unavailable Sunday, January 29, from 7:00 AM until noon for an Oracle database upgrade. Internet Firewall Outage - 1/13/06; 6:00am
Internet access will be temporarily unavailable at 6:00am on Friday, 1/13/06 while Telecommunications staff reboot a central Internet router. This will affect Internet access for UNH, UNH Manchester and USNH offices, but will not impact Plymouth or Keene sites. Expected downtime should not exceed 10 minutes. Faculty/Staff/Student Voicemail Unavailable - 1/13/06
The faculty, staff and student voicemail systems will be unavailable Friday, 1/13/06 from 6:30am - 7:00am for system maintenance. During the outage, there will be no access to voicemail messages and outside callers will not be able to leave any voice messages. Existing saved messages will not be affected by the outage. Banner System Downtime - 1/08/06
BANNER Finance, BANNER HR, BANNER Student, Web Intelligence Reporting System, InfoEd, Famis, Kronos and Remedy will be unavailable Sunday, January 8, 2006 from 7:00 AM until noon for software maintenance. AD Primary Firewall Upgrade - 01/05/06
The AD primary firewalls will have software upgrades performed Thursday, 1/5, at 10:00 p.m. The primary firewalls will be temporarily replaced with secondary firewalls running the latest software. The primary firewalls will be upgraded to the latest software over a period of hours. AD functionality will be tested on the secondary firewalls during this time. Upon completion of upgrading the primary firewalls, they will then replace the temporary secondary firewalls.

At a minimum, this upgrade will create two separate times (a few hours apart) when there is a brief period of a few seconds when AD will be unavailable as firewalls are swapped in and out of production. There is also the potential that AD will be unavailable for a longer period of time if testing of the latest software (running on the secondary firewalls) reveals communication issues.

Banner Systems Unavailable - 1/05/06
Banner Finance and HR will be unavailable during the regularly scheduled maintenance window this Thursday, 01/05/06, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. while BPRD is upgraded to General 6.2.4, HR 6.1.4 and HR 6.1.6. Blackboard Server Maintenance - 1/03/06 - 1/04/06
Blackboard is undergoing a major maintenance procedure that will span from 1/3/2006 to 1/4/2006. Webcat and UNH E-mail will be available during this period and may be accessed from http://blackboard.unh.edu address. We appreciate your understanding while system administrators conduct this important work. This web page will have the most current information at all times during normal business hours.
