UNH LAN Upgrade Information Page

Keeping the UNH network healthy requires among other things, that UNH Telecom keep edge equipment current. As part of an on-going effort to keep the campus network healthy, UNH Telecom will be replacing Enterasys Matrix E1 Ethernet switches on the campus network between January and April of 2003.

As a result of this work, scheduled brief network service interruptions will occur. To minimize the impact of this work on the campus clients, UNH Telecom will work together with the UNH Help Desk and Dispatch Center to pro-actively notify clients in advance to the best of our ability.

We will be contacting representatives in each college and vice president’s office, to establish notification list to which confirmations of specific outages will be posted 48 hours prior to specific work startup.
