The Part-Time Full-Time Temp Casual Exempt Daily Rate Appointment Tool (hereafter “Tool”) is a Microsoft Excel based tool.  In order to use it, you have to follow the set up procedure instructions below. These instructions are for Excel 2000 running on Windows XP or Windows 2000.

A)  Set up security to enable macros

1. Open Excel – Click on Start, Programs then find and click on Excel in list.
2. Click on Tools, then select Macros which will open another menu, click on security in this menu.

3. Select the Low option and click OK. 

4. Click on Tools menu again – select Add-Ins

5. Check Analysis ToolPak and Analysis ToolPak – VBA and click OK.
