Tools Using Excel on Windows 2000

Tool INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (This
is a one-Time Setup in EXCEL per machine)
- Open
Excel – Click on Start, Programs then find and click on Microsoft Excel in
list.
- Click
on Tools, select Macros which will open another menu, click on security in
this menu.

- Select
Medium Security then click OK.

Adding Excel AddIns
1. Right Click on LD Utilities.xla and select
Save As"
.
2. Select Desktop in Save In pull down box.

3. Click on new folder icon to right of “Save In” pull
down and then type in LD Utilities in New folder name box.

4. Double click on LD Utility folder you have just created
and click on Save to save file to this folder.

- Open
Excel – Click on Start, Programs then find and click on Microsoft Excel in
list.
- Click
on Tools menu – select Add-Ins

- Check
Analysis ToolPak, Analysis ToolPak – VBA and click on Browse.

- Select Desktop in “Look In” drop down menu.

- Find and double click LD Utilities Folder, then click on OK

- Click
OK to close Add-In window.

- The
Excel menu bar should now have a menu at the end called “LD Tools”.
