Screen Prints: The latest QVT/Term does a good job with screen prints from CUFS or other terminal sessions. Simply hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard, and the job will print to your default printer. Users with older terminal emulation programs may encounter problems in this area. The solution is to contact CIS and have your software upgraded to the latest version. If the icon for your terminal emulation program is predominantly blue or yellow in color, you do not have the latest version. The version that does print screens well has an icon that looks like the one at the beginning of this paragraph.
AutoPrinting from QVT/Term: If you would like to print a 1032 report that you generate and display to your screen (or any other text information that scrolls past on your screen) you can use the AutoPrint feature in QVT/Term. To activate this, simply click on the tool-bar button which has a printer icon on it, display the report on your screen (let it scroll) and then click the tool bar printer button again. The information that passed on your screen between the two button clicks will then print to your default printer.
Note that this feature does not work for information that is "painted" up on your screen, such as a CUFS screen. It only works for lines of text, such as those generated by a report or listing the contents of a directory or file.
