What is a Dual Major?
What is a Dual Major?
It is an interdisciplinary and complementary major that pairs with any primary major at UNH. International Affairs (IA) undergraduates:
- Take 4 core requirements and 3 electives from a variety of globally relevant disciplines.
- Study a foreign language to the advanced level.
- Engage in an international experience for a minimum of eight weeks that connects language study, primary major and global interests.
- Present research at the prestigious UNH Undergraduate Research Conference.
The IA dual major requires no additional credits for graduation beyond the 128 required of all UNH students.
