Planning 
While the process of enrolling in a study abroad program is exciting, it can also seem overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be. The best approach to the process is to break it down into manageable steps or stages. The CIE is here to assist students in managing their study abroad plans, application and enrollment into a successful program.
Below are the steps a student needs to take in order to plan his or her study abroad endeavor.
- Attend a General Information Session - Thursdays, 1:00 in McConnell Hall rm 312
- Define your own criteria
- Research programs
- Check in at Hood House room 223
- Determine your eligibility
- Check out scholarships
- Apply to a program
- Complete all the preceding steps by the following deadlines:
November 15 – Spring semester study abroad
April 15 – Summer & Fall semester study abroad - Attend a Mandatory Registration Workshop - Tuesdays, 1:00 in Hood House, second floor
- Attend Mandatory Orientation -
Held each semester; dates to be determined. - Pack your bags and get ready to have the experience of a lifetime!!!
