International Affairs Dual Major 
IA Social to celebrate International Education Week
Monday, November 16th, 5-7 pm, Hood House Solarium (pizza will be served). IA students are invited to stop by and discuss the IA dual major with Center staff, faculty, and peers.

Expand your global horizons and extend your career opportunities into the international arena by combining any major on campus with International Affairs. Majors which have been combined with International Affairs include:

Multi-disciplinary IA courses are taught by faculty from many different departments. The courses are designed to help students appreciate the complex interrelationships and interdependencies among nations and peoples and to equip students with the analytical skills and broad perspectives necessary for both public and private sector international careers.
The International Affairs dual major consists of:
- Three core courses - IA 401, IA 501, IA 701

Offered during January Term 2010: GEOG 402, NURS 794, POLT 568 - Foreign Language Competency (3rd year, 2nd semester level)
Geography Competency - reference National Geographic Student Atlas of the World
Exam is offered once per semester.- A Foreign Experience of at least 8 weeks
The IA dual major requires no more than the usual 128 credits needed for graduation. While completing their combined program, most students are also able to earn a minor in their foreign language.
