Faculty Int'l Development Grants

The Center for International Education administers competitions for two categories of grants to support the activities of full-time, tenured or tenure-track UNH faculty in all departments. Funds are provided by the Vice-President for Academic Affairs to encourage international scholarship and teaching by UNH faculty members in all disciplines. Awards will take the form of expense reimbursements, contingent upon the receipt by the Center for International Education of a report on the funded activities. See report guidelines. $500 International Development Grants

Fall Semester Competition
Six grants of $500 for travel between January 1 and June 30.
Deadline: Last Friday in November (Awards announced first Friday in December).

Spring Semester Competition
Six grants of $500 for travel between July 1 and December 31.
Deadline: Third Friday in April (Awards generally announced ten days after deadline).

Priority will be given to applications that support existing institution-level collaborations/exchanges or that will lead to such collaboration.


Major Grants for International Development ($1000-$3000)

Major funding for faculty to initiate or expand their international teaching, research, or outreach activities.

Deadline: Third Friday in April (Awards announced second Friday in May).
