Monday, September 3, 2007
Last day to withdraw or drop courses and qualify for 100% refund.
Labor Day, University Holiday – UNH Closed in observance. Chem Office & stockrooms will be closed.

Tuesday, September 4, 2007
Classes begin.
Continuing graduate students are expected to register for classes before the first day of classes.

Tuesday, September 11, 2007
New graduate students must register by September 11, 2007.
Last day for graduate students to register without $25 late registration fee.
Graduate web registration ends at 6 PM (except GRAD 800, 900, and DEPT 999 which continues thru September 21).

Friday, September 14, 2007
LAST DAY to withdraw, to drop to part-time, or to reduce part-time load and qualify for refund based on 3/4 tuition refund (based on 3/4 difference in tuition).

Friday, September 21, 2007
LAST DAY to add/drop courses, change to audit, or pass/fail, without deans approval and $25 per course late drop fee.
Last day for graduate students to register and pay without having degree status discontinued.

LAST DAY to withdraw, to drop to part-time or to reduce part-time course load and qualify for 1/2 tuition refund (based on 1/2 difference in tuition).
LAST DAY for students to drop courses, or change to audit, without Deans approval and grade of W ($25 late fee still applies).
LAST DAY to carry excess of credits without surcharge.

Mid-semester, Fall break, no classes.
LAST DAY to withdraw from the University without receiving grades of WP or WF.
LAST DAY for graduate students to file an Intent-to-Graduate form for December 2007 without $25 late fee.
Deadline for completion of undergraduate level coursework resolving spring 2007 and summer 2007 incomplete grades.
LAST DAY to submit petitions for extensions of undergraduate course incompletes.
Application forms for part-time tuition scholarships for Semester II, 2007-08, are available at the Graduate School.
Dissertation Year Fellowship applications available at the Graduate School.

Special grade reports resolving IC grades for spring/summer 2007 due for all. students with IC grades in 400-700 level courses. Unresolved incompletes are converted to “F.”

Month of November: Spring Registration Begins.

Thursday, November 1, 2007
Winter Parking Ban
runs from November 1 to March 31. During this time parking is prohibited at any time between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. in all but specially designated WPB lots. This ban goes on every night regardless of weather conditions and they DO TICKET!! Check the parking website for more info.

Last day to drop courses or change to audit without $25 late fee.
Last day to choose pass/fail grading option (undergraduate courses).

Graduate Awards- Student Teaching, Student Graduate Award Application deadline-Student Teaching, Student Research/Creativity/ Scholarship, Graduate Faculty Mentor Award.

Friday, February 15
Last day for completing application for admission to graduate study for Semester I Fall 2008, to ensure consideration for financial assistance for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Summer TA Fellowship application deadline.

Friday, February 22
Last day to withdraw, to drop to part-time, or to reduce part-time load and qualify for tuition refund (refund based on ½ difference in tuition).
Last day to drop courses ($25 late fee continues to apply).
Last day to change to audit ($25 late fee continues to apply).
