Dr. Vasudevan's research interests are in the area of biocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis, in particular hydrodesulfurization catalysts, deep HDS catalysis, mechanistic studies of enzyme deactivation, bioremediation using enzyme systems, and purification of proteins. Currently, he is working in the area of biofuels (biodiesel and cellulosic ethanol using enzymes).
